Fatherless Friday

My Prayer Babies....Andriy and Sasha.  Oh how I wish these two boys would have a family come for them!  We pray for them every night at supper...it's Summer's job,  and she takes it very seriously :)  So, we're hoping the prayers are heard and someone out there sees them today and just KNOWS in their heart that they were meant to be THEIRS!

Boy, Born October 2008
Awww, look at his peach fuzz!   Andriy is a cutie with blonde hair and big blue eyes. Andriy has grown so much since he was first listed with us. He's been waiting too long!

His records indicate Down syndrome, a systolic murmur, hypermetropia (far sighted), rachitis (rickets, he needs some sunlight!), and pyelectasis Andriy is too cute, and his conditions can be treated easily at home! He sure looks healthy though….good chubby legs, good color, growing well!

This region historically waives the 10 day waiting period for children with special needs! Hope you will consider any one of these kids in orphanage 41!

$1415.00 is available towards the cost of my adoption

Boy, Born March 13, 2004

Sasha is a precious little gift from God. He is 6 years old, but is not able to do much of anything right now. He is very much still a baby. He may have CP as well, but is considered severely delayed. He does a lot of rocking…in his crib, in his stroller…to keep himself occupied. He has teeth marks in his tongue from chewing on it from boredom. We do not know if he truly has autism, or he is just so severely impacted by the CP or other birth trauma that the caregivers can't really do much with him, and he turns to himself to soothe.

Sasha desperately needs a loving family, and experienced, patient family who can celebrate every step of progress as a miracle of God! I can't wait to see the person he becomes when he has a family to love him and encourage him. He will surely remain bedridden for life if he is sent away, and he is facing that soon.

Please save Sasha!

These guys ROCK!

We went to Travis's Sending Off Deployment Ceremony this afternoon.

It was good to see the Patriotism.  The Honor.  The Dignity.

The Patriot Guard was there...like they always are.  Showing their support for the soldiers and for their families.  All I have to say is THESE GUYS ROCK!

Patriot Guard Riders Mission Statement
The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn't matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives:
  1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
  2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.
To those of you who are currently serving and fighting for the freedoms of others, at home and abroad, please know that we are backing you. We honor and support you with every mission we carry out, and we are praying for a safe return home for all.

Our life in pictures

I know I should spread these out, but I'm kind of an all or nothing sort of gal....so here's what we've been up to lately :)

This is Michael, stuck in the cat house.  Notice the smile on his little brothers face ;)

When Michael thinks I'm favoring his sister...this is what I get....

Artiom waving and Alex spinning the top to my lamp...

Toma looking like Mr. Cool....

This is my best friend in the whole world...Jake.  In jail for throwing up my bean soup!

We took the little kids fishing....

My handsome sweetie <3

pretty little lake, or mud hole, however you choose to see it ;)

Didn't even get a nibble..

But Alex is thinking of going in....and it's cold!

In typical Alex fashion, he fell.....

Ooooh, not so funny anymore!!!

This tree is my pride and joy...for about ONE WEEK out of the year,

Then, it looks like the Nightmare Before Christmas tree for the rest of the year.

But oh so pretty right now!

Three of our little ones...Toma didn't want to be in it ;)  And I know...Summer is wearing a gymnastics outfit with a fancy skirt with combat boots.  I know.  (rolling my eyes)

This is what Toma was doing :)

Miss Summer Rose with one of our kitty's, Marco.

My pond that my sweet husband made for me...

Playing in the rain!  Do you remember doing that?

Looks fun....ahhh, to be a kid again.

 rain on my pond...

Rain on my Alex...

Then it cleared up and they got to play again....

Toma loves the sand....almost as much as the water.

 My turtles...enjoying the sunshine.

And finally, me...SANS makeup and hair.  Michael took it ;)
And I was brave enough to put it on here!
