It's crazy how, in this country, you just get in a car and have no idea what kind of adventure will follow or if you are going to live. You all did make great friends, and what an awesome memory to have. Maybe you'll be able to adopt your next little one from that area.Kishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15946778772142346821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736906635379757139.post-25807111379604996772010-04-15T21:19:58.286-07:002010-04-15T21:19:58.286-07:00what an amazing spirit you have! such cool stories...what an amazing spirit you have! such cool stories :)Maria and Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02642537591127787983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736906635379757139.post-73044621414883149662010-04-15T20:14:01.093-07:002010-04-15T20:14:01.093-07:00Hilarious...you had me chuckling! I have really enjoyed following your family's journey. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.
This story about your evening at Rambo's house is hilarious! I had read it in the afternoon and then told it to my husband and kids at dinner tonight. They couldn't stop laughing. What an adventure you and your husband have had!
On a completely different topic... You mentioned Ari having bad diapers. As another person suggested, definitely have him tested for giardia and also h-pylori. They both effect the intestines. We just adopted our son from Ethiopia in July 2009. He came home with both infections. It took a couple of treatments to get rid of the giardia, but only one for the h-pylori. I hope this is helpful to you.
Congratulations to all of you on Ari coming home.
Best Wishes,
Pattypattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04236796689627705814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1736906635379757139.post-37059074473729819542010-04-15T14:31:43.144-07:002010-04-15T14:31:43.144-07:00That is the part of Romania we cherish most! I'm glad you got to go through all of those "events" because it makes the experience of adoption, in my opinion, from a foreign country so much more special! Actually seeing and living (at least for six weeks)how some people in Ukraine live! Such GREAT memories! After our adoption it took sooooo long for us not to want to be back with our new family!!
NanceNancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02590404768389225445noreply@blogger.com
