Fatherless Friday

These are three of the most beautiful children I have EVER seen!  I could stare at them ALL day :)

Do they stir your heart when you look at them?

Do you feel drawn to one in particular....like he/she was meant to be your child?

They desperately need families....they have NO future without someone stepping forward to claim them as their own.

They are simply precious.  In every sense of the word.  Is one of them your child?

Can you help these little girls come home???

These two girls are orphans in Eastern Europe.  They both have medical issues that need attention...little Nastya below needs it SOON.  As you can see she needs surgery on her skull before further damage is done to her brain from the pressure. My son was born with a similar condition and needed total skull reconstruction because of the pressure on is brain.  When they took his skull apart there were indentations of his brain already on the skull tissue...and he was only 6 months old!

This poor girl needs to come home QUICKLY....

The wonderful news is that they have a family that WANTS THEM...that LOVES THEM already.... that is doing everything they can do to bring them home!
But they need HELP.

This is Moira...she has arthrogryoposis.  Her hands and feet are affected.  She needs medical attention also so that someday she can walk, and hold her toys and run around and play...She needs her family to come for her SOON.

Can you take a minute to check out their blog??  These girls have a wonderful family just waiting for them ....they'll have 3 sisters and a brother and a mommy and daddy to love them :)

It's a dream come true for these two orphans...a dream come true.

But please, help in any way you can....whether it be participating in their AWESOME raffle for a diamond ring (and other things, go look!)  or if it's through donations OR if it's through prayer......you can do something to help...we all can.

For those of you who have adopted or are in the process right now....you know what it's like to wait. AND WAIT.  And wait some more...

And wonder every minute of the day if your child is ok, if he or she is treated well, if they are hungry, lonely, sick, sad, happy....or even transferred to an institution or different orphanage.  It's just wondering all the time!  And hoping and PRAYING.

It's tough, it's stressful, but it's something these parents willingly choose to do, because of LOVE and COMPASSION for the least of these....

But as one, we can see these girls home.

THANK YOU FOR VISITING THEIR BLOG.....THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS....

Guess where I'm going......

Alligator Point Florida!!!!!!!

I'm SO excited.

Last year when we came home from Ukraine our seats got bumped, so we got 2 free tickets...they were about to expire, so we booked a trip down to FLORIDA :)

We can only stay a few days,  but it's better than nothing :)

Alligator Point is a little forgotten part of the Florida panhandle....it's not your typical beach vacation, but we're not your typical beach goers...so it's all good!

Ahhhhhh....peace and quiet for 3 days.

Heavenly.

We don't leave for over a month....I'm just excited ;)

The mouse

We're still dealing with the little mouse gang in denali.....Rich and Shane drove it yesterday and had so much cat food flying out at them (through the vents) it was like confetti. So he took all the seats out and found their little lair under the seat in a kleenex box....with about a pound of cat food.

Oh, funny story--- last week shane was in it waiting for me at an appointment and he was relaxing listening to music when he heard 'chewing noises' he turned the music off and listened, it was coming from the back....so he got out and looked through the window and the mouse was in the back sitting right next to mouse poison eating POPCORN!

ya ever see Mouse Hunt?? I think that's what we're dealing with here....

ps....he held off the poison for a looong time because I don't like to kill anything.....anything.  But even I have to admit, it's getting out of hand...I mean, there was mouse turds in my purse!

Guess who I'm friends with?

On Facebook, that is....

Jacee's brother  :)

Nee ner nee ner nee ner.

I feel so special.
