Happy Birthday Princess Diana

Diana Frances Spencer, born July 1, 1961

Yes, I grew up loving her.

I remember watching her wedding...

And seeing how much she loved her boys...

Two of my very favorite people dancing together.... Diana and Ronald Reagan.

And how she blossomed into such a beautiful woman even among such sadness in her life...

But she left way too soon.

Happy Birthday Diana.

Fatherless Friday

Yes, I know this is early.  I posted it earlier today when I thought it was Friday today, hahaa.  It's been one of 'those' days....but then my sweet, but know it all, friend Kristen emailed me and said 'what the.... this is THURSDAY!' soo..I took it off.  But then I figured whats the difference, so I put it back on  ;)

Two weeks in a row, I know...but this is sweet Charity!

There is a family adopting from her orphanage right now and they were fortunate enough to get this updated picture of her!!!

Oh my, she's sooo sweet.  And so little, just perfect for cuddling ;)

Pretty in Pink.  Now she just needs someone to come for her.

This baby needs your prayers....

Remember this baby? Sweet Moira (Victoria).

( I borrowed this from Julia Nalles blog, she's so much better at it than I am)

Well she is currently in the Children's Hospital of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

She just plain needs our prayers.
So does her family.

They also need anyone who lives in the Atlanta area to drop what they are doing and be the hands of Christ for that family.

Shelly Burman, who just finished going through the same nightmare with their daughter Carrington, has volunteered to organize people to help the Ferrones through her Carrington's Courage blog.

If you live in the Atlanta area - please contact Shelly through that blog and let her know what you can do to help.

If you don't live in the Atlanta area - then consider helping the family out financially. They could definitely use every single donation made at this point.

There is a chip-in on Carrington's Courage.

Please let's rally around this family - through prayers, financial support and hands on loving!

Fatherless Friday

Sweet Charity....I've wanted you for sooo long.  I look at your picture all the time and everyday when I look to see which children have been chosen, I always anticipate seeing your face....but you're still waiting for your mama and papa to come for you.
If we could go back now, it would be for you sweet girl....

This little one needs her family...she needs to be loved and cuddled...she needs to belong.  Can't you just imagine what a little ray of sunshine she would be in your lives???  Please, someone save her.

Happy Birthday Sweet Josiah

Little Josiah turned 7 yrs old today.  That's 7 yrs without a mom and a dad.  Without a family.
That is so sad :(        Please, somebody save him....

Boy, Born June 22, 2004
HELP! I NEED MY FAMILY NOW!

Josiah is SO handsome! Olive skin, and dark hair with beautiful deep brown eyes.
Josiah is all boy! Very active and doing well. He was born with an additional chord to the left ventricle, and has a functional systolic murmur. But you'd never know it! Josiah is almost 6, please help us save him from the institution!
From an adoptive family who visited with him in May 2010: "This cutie pie had just woken up from his nap, so he was not feeling over smiley. He was very pleasant and followed the commands of his caretaker. He appropriately pointed to his ears, eyes, nose, bottom and hands after she asked him to show her wher each part was. He loves to throw the ball back and forth with someone. He is well developed and proportional. He is a big boy."
From an adoptive family who visited with him in April 2011: "Josiah was transfered to his current place in October, 2010. He has lost a noticeable amount of weight. He is desperate for personal attention and stimulation. The caretakers at the orphanage really do not know what to do with him. He is very outgoing and has a huge smile for anyone that is willing to give him the time of day. He gets along well with the other children in the groupa and listens well to his caretakers.
He walks and runs, and plays, and feeds himself, but he seems to have slipped into survival mode here and is regessing fast. I feel VERY STRONGLY that he needs out of this place!"

I AM ELIGIBLE FOR AN OLDER CHILD GRANT
