Another Lewandoski....?

We are seriously praying about committing to another child in .....'my special country'...possibly two.

Please say some prayers for us to take this leap of faith, and trust that the Lord will provide along the way....

The little boy that I believe belongs with us is 5 1/2 and will be transferred soon to an institution where he will become 'unadoptable' and he will spend his life there.

There is a little girl in the same orphanage that will also become 'unadoptable' when transferred, although she has more time since she is younger....but I have my eye on her too :)

So, friends, please pray for us to make the right decision, and to TRUST.

  2. Although this doesn't surprise me one bit, I'm excited and will be praying for you and Rich to make your decision soon! I don't think I can now build pedestal high enough to put you on. ha ha Seriously, though, you will be in my prayers because I know this is a huge decision. :)

  3. Jodi,

I have been following your story for awhile now and am so inspired by you. You are one of the reasons why I have been researching more about the situation with these orphans and Reese's Rainbow and am trying to figure out if this is something we would be able to do also. People like you make people like me want to do more and be better. I am so greatful you have saved Artoma and are considering saving another...or two :)

  4. Thank you! the above comment REALLY makes me feel good :)

And believe me, I'm about as 'average' a person as you can get! Anyone can make a difference, you just have to follow that leading you feel in your heart!

  5. After following you on the blog a bit I'm not a bit surprised either! ;) You and Ukraine were meant for each other!! HA!! While reading your posts while you were over there I have never laughed so hard before in my life. We adopted in 9/09 from Ukraine off RR and knew EXACTLY what you were going through. God gave you grace and a sense of humor to get through the process. "If her brings you to it, he'll bring you through it." GO FOR IT. And thank you for making a difference.
