Crepes and lemon sauce

Yum!
That's what the kids and I made for breakfast today~ I have so many helpers.....you should see my kitchen when we're done!

We always listen to the music on the Peachy Kitchen blog, it's our 'cookin music' and it gets the kiddo's going and in a happy mood.

Artiom is starting to like me more :) Today he is really clingy. Last night I showed him pics of the orphanage and we watched some Russian cartoons on YouTube, and now today he is extra clingy, so maybe the Russian and the pics of his caretaker has something to do with it.

It was the ONE nice care taker that he had, and he really seemed to like her.

It's been cold and rainy here this week, and we are going a little stir crazy. Michael, as we speak, is dressed up in a dress and bonnet like on Little House on the Prairie.

Yes, it's going to be one of THOSE days.

If only his father could see him now.....

  2. And now you have to add to the list of all you can do that you make gourmet breakfasts for a gazillion people. I know your next post will be about the homeless people you bring in for dinner every night and serve them Oysters Rockefeller or something right???

    Oh Help!

  5. Lemon Curd

I got this from Lydia's blog (RR)

    it's sooooo good :)

    1 1/4 Cups sugar
    4 large eggs
    1 TBS light corn syrup
    3/4 cup lemon juice
1 stick unsalted butter in chunks
Whisk all ingredients together in a heavy saucepan.
Over medium-low heat, stir constantly until curd thickens and a bubble or two pops at surface. (8-10 minutes) Don't let it boil!
