After supper tonight I was kissing his cheek and saying 'potsalouie' (or however you spell it).... and then I put my cheek in front of him and he kissed it!!!
So, we clapped and laughed and did it about a dozen times...then everyone in the family lined up for a kiss. It's SO cute. He is just precious.
He is really starting to love me more. We're bonding more lately. He always wants to be on my lap during the day if I'm on the computer. But yeah, the minute papa gets home I'm old news ;) that's fine with me though, he and his papa are tight :) :)
We had my dad over for supper. We have a bench on one side of the table and then chairs on the other sides. Dad sat on the bench....well, none of the kids wanted to sit by him, they were all clamoring to get to the remaining chairs so they wouldn't be stuck next to grandpa. It was like musical chairs :) with little Alex being the last one standing....staring at the bench with gramps on it...saying 'I don't like him' which he got in trouble for and had to apologize.
Dad pinched him during supper and took his cookie. It didn't go over well.
Still no santa in the window. It's too heavy for me to lift up to Rich and Shane hasn't been around to help. I sure hope we get it up before dear Gretchen comes over next week :)
some days you want pecans, some days you want walnuts...and some days you just get stuck with peanuts.
It's a good day to be a Mom when Toma is passing out kisses! Thanks for sharing all of your sweet(and not so sweet) moments with us. We love them all.

Aren't those moments wonderful??? Much more special when you wait a long time too! Give Toma kiss for me! Give your Dad a hug from me too. I think he just needs some extra 'sugar' and he'll sweeten up! :)
ReplyDeleteUm...is this another get-together I'm not invited to? You guys are starting to make this a habit and I'd just like to say that I don't think I like it very much. sniff. sniff. That's ok. My friend Sue flew all the way from Washington State to spend the weekend with me so you and Gretchen just go ahead and do your thing while Sue and I are eating out at Mimi's Cafe, getting pedicures, and shopping for my birthday presents. What are you guys going to do? tee hee hee
