Whatever!!!

It has been requested by a certain teenager in the house that I stop coming across like a 'redneck' ...'hillbillie'...'hick'...or anything of the sort.

It was pointed out to me that 'people' already think we're weird enough.

Hmp.

Can't have any fun around here.

How come teenagers don't have a sense of humor anyway?

I'll say it again....Hmp. (yes, I'm rolling my eyes)

  2. I think you should black out a few of your teeth when you serve her breakfast tomorrow morning. Or better yet...when her date comes to pick her up. I'm guessing her date would be a distant cousin perhaps? tee hee hee

    Love ya!

  3. Oh, we don't bother with that 'distance' stuff around here. First cousins are just fine.

And the funny thing is when I was a kid we were too poor to go to the dentist except in extreme cases when things needed to be pulled.

I had so many of my back teeth pulled all at one time (so we'd only have to make one trip) that over the years my some of my teeth have 'spaced out' and now I do have lovely gaps that make me fit right in with the Clampetts! HA!

So, I already have that one covered!!!

True story. And I'm sure she cringes everytime I smile at her friends! :)

Oh, and you're little petite,lady-like 'tee hee's' with your one little leg up in the air is getting on my nerves.

  5. Yep, I never even knew I was frumpy until my then-teenaged daughter pointed it out to me. Frumpy! Then she proceeded to tell me which of my friends, though old like me, still knew how to be stylish. Well, that was a few years ago, and I think I'm still there. Somehow dashing around after multiple young children does not dispose one to seek stylishness (interestingly, none of my boys ever seem to notice!)
